I LOVE our special little neighborhood!
Plum Creek has carnivals, festivals, parades and everything special to have as a kid growing up.
For our family, we have made some really great friends...
Last night was "Date Night" for a few of our neighbors, which means it was our turn to watch their kids...

This year we are taking each daughter on their very own date. Being the oldest, Aspen was the first one to pick where she wanted to go with just Coy and me...NO OTHER SISTERS! My girls really do love being with each other and get along very well but the thought of having all of the conversation with mom and dad to themselves... is the greatest thing on earth to them! Aspen wanted to go to Austin's Park and Pizza. We all had a blast!

Hello 2012. I am so very excited you are here. 2011 was a really awesome year and I am sad to see it go but I am really looking forward to great things this year. With our girls growing older, I am finding more time to enjoy every little thing about them. When you have three girls close in age...sometimes the "little" things get lost in the everyday shuffle of just trying to keep them healthy and alive! So, Cheers to you 2012! I am not a fool...and I don't want to come across like every little thing is perfect in my life and will just continue into perfect bliss! I HAVE MY PROBLEMS TOO! I am hopeful that I will handle my problems with peace and one step at a time. I am hopeful that I will feel free more than I am stressed. I am hopeful that my girls will look back on 2012 and think what a blessed year it has been! I am hopeful that my husband and I will get to spend more time together (I might not want to if he keeps telling me that I am spending too much time on the computer...Did you hear that Coy!) I am hopeful friends and family will have their best year yet. Carpe Diem.

Last night we said goodbye to 2011 at Matt and Susan's home with all of Coy's family. Kids were invited too, which was awesome because I wouldn't want to be without my girls on such a special night! I will post some more pics just as soon as I can!

Sunny...The best friend a girl could have!

I don't think I have mentioned Sunny. I got sunshine on a cloudy day....You are the sunshine of my life...Sunny days make me happy...no it's for REAL! Sunny is the light of my life (sorry children) but she is the best girlfriend any girl/woman could ever have. I had to put girl - slash- woman because I have known my BFF, Sunny, since I was 10 years old...and now, I am 22 (if you believe that, I really appreciate it!) Seriously, we have been best friends for such a long time. I knew early on...like 7th grade...that this was the greatest person in my life and I knew then our friendship was forever. That 7th grade year we became super close and have never let the tight bond loosen. If I think about it and if I sit back and reflect over all the years of our friendship...we are like sisters, soul mates, ment-to-be friends forever...God must have had a plan because this is not your typical "oh I really like hanging out with this girl" type of friendship. It is so much more. I love her!

So she came into town recently and I took some pictures of her children. I by no means am a photographer but it has sort of become my new creative and artistic hobby and my best friend allowed me to use her children as photog props!

Here I go again... trying to explain why I have been SO darn busy and because of that, I don't have the personal time to blog! The truth is, I feel like I am constantly blogging all day long in my head with thoughts that I probably shouldn't be putting out there on the web...I am looking for the courage to really let myself go! I want to make this work! I want to feel comfortable expressing my thoughts, like and dislikes on the World, Wide, Web...But who am I? Who cares? I suppose I should just start with something small...
Yesterday...A friend of mine asked, "What, exactly is your workout schedule and tell me everything you eat in a day!" Funny thing is, she followed up with..."In high school you were healthy but not really in shape. Now I look at some of your pictures on Facebook and think...sweet little Brooke is ripped!" bahahahaha! she is so funny! I am not hardly ripped but yes...I do look different than I did in high school :))
So here is what I shared with her:
Monday: Bodypump (ladies, RUN to your nearest gym that offers Les Mills classes and you will NOT be disappointed in the results. The great thing is ANYONE can do the classes!)
Tuesday: 2 mile run in the neighborhood (BTW...I HATE running!)
Wednesday: Bodypump
Thursday: 3mile run around Town Lake or any other place in Austin for that matter that just takes my mind off of running while I am running. I HATE running!
Friday: Spin class or Bodycombat...I am usually very sore and tired by the end of the week so whatever feels like might be more of a "fun" class, that is what I do.
FOOD:
I only drink coffee before my workouts.
Oatmeal after workouts
Turkey wrap for lunch
protein bar for snack
and...Whatever I want for dinner!
Sometimes I have a small dessert...sometimes not.
OH...and I drink A LOT of red wine when the kids go to bed, hehe! You thought I was going to say water, didn't you?
Yes, I only drink water during the day!

The Screaming...Gives Her a Bad Rap...

Bless her little heart...

She really is the cutest thing you have ever seen! She is FULL of sass, spunk and silliness. Peyton is just not like the other two year olds. She is currently re-writing the book of 2 YEAR OLDS! I don't know if this behavior is because she is the youngest of three girls or if I am just too tired to discipline the way I did with the others or if the personality is already formed before you are born BUT what I do know is that her screaming...(hitting, kicking, stomping, fit-throwing) is not showing the side of her that is sweet, pure and good. If you are ever around Plum Creek during bedtime...stop by and see us, watch the sweet snuggling, book reading and song singing that goes on just between the two of us when I put her to bed. Ha! Bedtime is when she is at her best...don't visit in the morning!

So this is why I have been gone for TWO years...

My last post was right after baby Peyton was born. For the past two years I have been living with and for only them! They are magical children...although in public their worst always puts it's best foot forward. Ha! (Try to keep up with the humor, please!) I feel it is a good time to have a little "me" time. It is a good time because my babies are a tad bit older, which leaves me with a little more "me" space. I would love to fill the creative space that runs deep in my soul and unless you would like an old, washed-up dancer to choreograph something for you from Amos Lee...I only got this BLOG to express...ME (oh, and the other three!)

I woke up with contractions at 9am and thought to myself...we are going to have a baby today! With an excited Coy by my side we arrived at the hospital around 10am. I was very unsure how it was all going to play out, being that my first two babies were induced with everyone in their "places!"
At 1:57pm Peyton Avery Lowden was born!
8lbs. 20 1/2 inches - The biggest baby we have had!

She is amazing, beautiful and pure joy. Coy and I were at such peace last night watching her sleep. Finally, everything has fallen into place and we just can't believe how blessed we are to have these three amazing girls in our lives.

Precious Presley is loving her swimming lessons. Both my girls really love everything about summer. The sun, the sleeping in and of course, the SWIMMING. Here is Presley at swim lessons. She is so excited to not be crying that she promptly asks for a puppy dog as her reward! Crazy girl!

I am so proud to say that my daughter...yes, my very own daughter is good at soccer! Who would have thought considering I only played for a whopping TWO weeks when I was younger. She must take after her father...who I have been told was really good at this game. I am thrilled to see her score goals and run with aggression. Side note, at this age the girls kick butt and the boys cry! I told Aspen to get used to it...

Officially only three more months left. I can't believe how fast (up until this point) the pregnancy has gone. I honestly don't feel like I can get any bigger...oh but I will. Anyone have any swim suit options/advise for me? I am feeling a little stressed because nothing is ready for this baby...and I mean NOTHING! So much of nothing has gotten done that I must get to work on it right NOW! Bye.

Well, here we all are...the family. Aspen is 5yr. and Presley is 2yr. We have another baby girl on the way! Peyton Avery is due in late June (Coy can't wait to get his male dog!) This is the time of our lives. Please check back soon once I get it all figured out!
